CHICAGO, IL – The Shedd Aquarium experienced a surge in demand Monday as it sold out within hours of reopening following a weekend closure for the exhilarating NASCAR Chicago Street Race.

A Twitter video captured the immense line forming just 30 minutes after the aquarium’s Monday opening. This marks another instance of the facility reaching capacity, following its previous ticket scarcity on January 16 during a planned free-admission day.

With the city’s summer events in full swing, the Shedd Aquarium has solidified its status as a must-visit attraction, leaving eager animal enthusiasts eagerly awaiting their chance to explore its marine wonders.
