55 Injured in Los Angeles Metro Rail and Bus Collision on Tuesday

Los Angeles, CA – Fifty-five people were injured in a collision involving a Metro Rail train and a USC Transportation bus on Tuesday.

The accident occurred just before noon at the intersection of Exposition Blvd and Bill Robertson Ln. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department, alongside LAPD, MTA, and USC, provided immediate medical assistance.

Of those injured, two were in serious condition and 16 in fair condition. Thirty-seven individuals were treated and released at the scene. Fortunately, no children or juveniles were involved in the incident.
