Clio, CA – The Plumas County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent missing person alert for 78-year-old Elmerena Waelder. She was reported missing on February 20, 2024, after last being seen on the evening of February 19.
According to the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office, Elmerena Waelder, who suffers from a behavioral health condition, is considered an at-risk missing adult. She was last observed at her residence on C Road in Clio, California, around 10 PM on February 19. Details regarding her attire at the time of disappearance are currently unknown.
Elmerena is described as a white female with hazel eyes and brown/grey hair, standing 5’5″ tall and weighing approximately 210 lbs. The Plumas County Search and Rescue team has been dispatched to aid in the search.
