Homewood, IL – In a sobering incident on Tuesday afternoon, a white Ford van was involved in a severe single-vehicle accident on Governor’s Highway, as reported by the Homewood Police Department.
The tragic crash, occurring around 2:25 PM in the 17900 block, resulted in one fatality and injuries to several passengers. Emergency services, including the Homewood Police and Fire Departments, were quick to respond, providing immediate assistance and transporting the injured to local hospitals.
