COVID-19: Kankakee County announces 11 new cases, count rises to 383

Kankakee County Health Department Officials announced Thursday 11 new cases, including a children within the County limits, bringing case totals to 383.

No new deaths were announced Wednesday, as death totals in the County remain at 28.  This afternoon it was announced Illinois nearly one out of every five Illinoisans tested to date since the pandemic began has tested positive for COVID-19.

Five new recoveries were announced today, bringing total recovered to 99 in County.  Cases increased today in Kankakee, Bourbonnais, Bradley and Manteno all added new cases today, according to IDPH.

  • 18 Cases (Manteno)
  • 61 Cases (Bourbonnais)
  • 19 Cases (Bradley)
  • 201 Cases (Kankakee)
  • 9 Cases (St. Anne)
  • 11 Cases (Momence)
  • 8 Cases (Pembroke)
