Man Exposed Himself to Children Coming Home from School: Glen Ellyn Police Ask for Assistance

GLEN ELLYN, IL – The community is on alert tonight after reports of a man exposing himself to children surfaced Wednesday night.

According to Glen Ellyn police it happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday when two children were walking home from school in the area of Sunset Park.  Reports say the man approached the children and said they “dropped something” before exposing himself to the kids.  

Police have described the suspect as a white male, 30-50 years old with average build and a full brown beard with some graying.  At the time of the incident he was wearing a gray t-shirt with white text, blue athletic shorts and a black baseball hat.

Area residents are asked to check security cameras for any signs of an individual matching the description.  Anyone with any information on the case is asked to contact Glen Ellyn Police.

Extra patrols will be on duty before and after school beginning tomorrow.
