KANKAKEE – The Kankakee Salvation Army has reached their Christmas campaign goal of $205,900 dollars as of Tuesday. As of Monday, the campaign was less than $350 dollars short of their goal.

Donations had been down this holiday due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with a Virtual Red Kettle aiding fundraising efforts. The organization raise over $25,000 towards the goal through the Virtual Red Kettle online option.

You can still donate to the Virtual Red Kettle online at salarmy.us/kankakeekettle.
