Man found burned to death inside vehicle outside Joliet strip mall

JOLIET – Police are investigating what lead to a man being found burned to death in the back of a car outside of a business plaza in Joliet.

On Sunday, Will County Coroner’s Office released a preliminary autopsy of the victim, 34-year-old John Banda of Joliet.  Banda was found inside of a burned vehicle in the rear parking lot of a strip mall in the 1500 block of Essington Road in Joliet over the weekend. 

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
