River Valley Metro will institute a ‘no mask, no ride’ policy beginning May 1st.

The bus service’s latest measures in the name of public health are designed to coincide with the revised stay-at-home order issued by Governor Pritzker beginning in May. While the concept of wearing a mask does not protect you from COVID-19 while you run your errands, it reduces the spread of the virus to those around you.

The new restriction adds to others including no more than ten people on a bus. River Valley Metro has stated anyone not wearing a face mask will not be allowed on board.
