Olivet Nazarene University President Dr. John Bowling announced the Visionary Class of 2020 will be proceeding with Graduation, online this year.  “I know you’ve worked very hard for this special day, we don’t want to have you wait one minute more.”  Dr. Bowling said in an address yesterday.

“We have planned a very special commencement celebration, for you to enjoy with your family,” Dr. Bowling said.  “We will celebrate together, online, on May 9th.”

Details are still evolving on how the Graduation ceremonies will proceed.  May 9th was the original day of Graduation for the Olivet class of 2020.  Students with questions regarding the ceremony can email registrar@olivet.edu.

The announcement comes as Olivet Nazarene University announced this week it will be opening three of it’s on-campus residential buildings to local First Responders and Healthcare providers in an effort to quarantine themselves away from their family.

The three buildings amount to roughly 150 individual units for workers to call their own during the quarantine period.
