Pistol falls from Pocket, discharge puts Man in Hospital in Kankakee

KANKAKEE – A man was taken to the hospital Friday night after his pistol accidentally discharged Friday night. 

According to city police, it happened in the 700 block of Webster Circle East Friday when the 23-year-old had a pistol fall from his pocket and discharge.  The victim said it was an accident. 

No word on how serious the injury was, but the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
