500+ dead from COVID-19 one month after State of Emergency declared in Illinois

One month after a State-of-Emergency was declared for Illinois, officials reported Thursday 1,344 COVID-19 cases and 66 deaths, bringing totals for the State to 16,422 cases and 528 deaths.
