A sources say Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker will issue a “shelter-in-place” order for the State of Illinois, beginning Saturday. Per source, Pritzker will announce the news during his 3 pm press conference later today with Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Under the order, Illinois residents would be able to go to grocery stores, gas up cars, take walks and go to the pharmacy. Roadways would also remain open.
California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a shelter-in-place order on Thursday night.
