Lansing, IL – Lansing Police Department has issued a public safety alert following a noticeable increase in vehicle burglaries across various neighborhoods. 

Residents are being advised to enhance security measures by keeping valuables like wallets, purses, and firearms out of sight and vehicles securely locked. The police are actively investigating these incidents and encourage the community to report any suspicious activities. 

Non-emergency concerns can be addressed at 708-895-7150, while emergencies should always be reported through 911. This proactive reminder aims to reduce the risk of theft and protect personal property in the Lansing area.
