GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL – In the quiet pre-dawn hours, terror struck at Prairie State Gaming on the 300 block of Wall Street when an employee was confronted by two robbers, one wielding a semi-automatic handgun.

Glendale Heights Police responded to the scene at 5:00 AM, where the armed duo had already forced the employee inside and fled with a substantial amount of cash. The shaken employee escaped physical harm as the perpetrators disappeared.

The investigation, led by Detective Sergeant Robert Hawco, is underway, as the community reels from the audacity of the crime. Authorities emphasize the presumption of innocence, a cornerstone of justice, as they appeal for leads.
