Herscher, IL – Fire Department Warns of Fraudulent Donation Calls

Herscher, IL – The Herscher Fire Department issued a warning about fraudulent donation requests purportedly from the Pilot Township Fire Protection District.

The fire service clarified that, aside from its annual mail solicitation, it does not seek donations via phone calls. This clarification comes after reports surfaced of individuals falsely claiming to represent these fire departments to solicit funds.

The Herscher Fire Department encourages the public to be cautious and verify the legitimacy of any donation requests purportedly from their organization.
