Lockport Fire Crews Prevent Injuries in Quick Response to Attic Fire

Lockport, IL – An attic fire in a Lockport residence was successfully contained without any injuries on Wednesday. 

Lockport Township Fire Protection District responded around 4:30 PM in the 500 Block of West Street. The incident involved a ranch duplex, where crews efficiently managed to control the fire, averting damage to adjoining units. 

No residents were harmed in the blaze, the cause of the fire is being investigated, with initial findings pointing towards an accidental origin.
