Peoria, IL – Dispute in Business Parking Lot Leads to Arrest Following Stabbing

PEORIA, IL – Police were called to a business parking lot in the 4100 block of N. Sheridan on Thursday, May 2, around 5:11 p.m., after reports surfaced of a dispute between a man and a woman. Upon arrival, Peoria Police found an adult male with a stab wound to his leg. He was promptly transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the incident, officers apprehended 37-year-old Danielle Blanchard, who matched the description of the suspect involved in the stabbing. Blanchard was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic battery, and is now held at Peoria County Jail.
