Teen Bicyclist Killed in Fatal Aurora, Illinois Crash: Police Seek Witnesses

Aurora, Illinois — Aurora Police Department is appealing to the public for information regarding a fatal crash involving a teenage bicyclist. 

The incident occurred Monday at the intersection of Montgomery Road and Ogden Avenue. At about 4:00 p.m., a 16-year-old male bicyclist was struck by a 2008 Ford F-450 while crossing Montgomery Road. The teen was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased shortly after. The driver of the Ford reported no injuries. 

The Aurora Emergency Management Agency assisted in managing the scene as the Traffic Division of the Aurora Police investigates. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the Traffic Division at 630-256-5330.
