Naperville, Illinois — Following a Naperville Bowling Alley incident, Judge Joshua Dieden has denied pre-trial release for Demarveus Butler, Terrance Reed, and Rubin Tart.

The trio faces charges related to the possession of machine guns and drugs, as announced by the Naperville Police Department and the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. The arrest followed a surveillance operation at the Bowlero parking lot, leading to a vehicle search that revealed multiple firearms and narcotics.

State’s Attorney Robert Berlin highlighted the removal of illegal weapons and drugs as a critical achievement for public safety. The defendants, scheduled for arraignment in January 2024, maintain their presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
