Water Main Break in Mokena, Illinois: Urgent Community Alert Issued

MOKENA, IL – The Mokena Police Department (MPD) has issued an urgent community alert due to a significant water main break early Tuesday morning.

Residents on the west side of the village, especially around 195th & Townline Road, are affected. The MPD and the village’s Public Works Department are actively addressing the issue. There have been reports of roadway flooding in the area. 

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously as repair crews are on-site. For further assistance, residents can contact the non-emergency dispatch center at 708-479-3911 or the water department at 708-479-3926.
