PLAINFIELD, IL – The Plainfield Park District invites you to a festive spectacle of lights, laughter, and community cheer at Grinchmas on the Green, a public event heralding the holiday season.
On Saturday, November 25, from 4 to 7 PM, Village Green Park will transform into a winter wonderland. Kicking off the evening, free hot cocoa and cookies will warm hearts, followed by Santa and the Grinch’s grand entrance, thanks to the Plainfield Fire Protection District.
The highlight – a dazzling tree lighting ceremony at 5:15 PM – promises to be a breathtaking moment, casting a merry glow over the Green. Capture the memory with photos in Whoville, creating a perfect backdrop for holiday cards and social media snaps.
This year’s celebration, sponsored by local champions D’Arcy Buick GMC, Moravec Orthodontics, and NuMark Credit Union, is set to be a joyous start to the season’s festivities.
