Fulton County, IN – A police chase involving a motorcycle that started on State Road 25 in Cass County concluded with a foot pursuit and arrest in Fulton County on Thursday evening.
According to Indiana State police reports the suspect, Jamie Corbin, 43, of Rochester, IN, was apprehended after an Indiana State Police Trooper noticed the motorcycle’s malfunctioning taillight and attempted to make a stop. Corbin allegedly accelerated, leading to a high-speed chase through Cass and Fulton Counties.
The pursuit ended when Corbin reportedly abandoned his motorcycle and attempted to flee on foot, but he was quickly captured. A subsequent search of the motorcycle reportedly revealed suspected methamphetamine. Investigations also suggested Corbin was allegedly under the influence during the chase.
Corbin faces preliminary charges including resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He also had two active warrants from Howard County. After his arrest, Corbin was taken to a hospital for a certified test before being transported to the Fulton County Jail.
