Milwaukee, WI – Southern Wisconsin is set to experience widespread rain showers today, according to the National Weather Service in Sullivan, Wisconsin.

The rainy conditions will give way to partly cloudy skies tonight, providing a brief respite before the weather takes another turn. Friday will see a clear start, but storm chances will increase by the late afternoon.

The weekend outlook is mildly optimistic with partly sunny skies on Saturday and only a few isolated storms predicted for the afternoon. The weather service has indicated that severe weather is unlikely through the end of the week.
