DeMotte Woman Demands Her Own Arrest in Unusual Police Encounter

DeMotte, IN – A domestic disturbance call took an unexpected twist in DeMotte, Indiana, late last month. 

According to Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputies, officers arrived at a residence northeast of town March 30th  to find a bizarre situation unfolding. Deputies report 32-year-old Jenna L. Seegers, after a heated verbal altercation, demanded that deputies arrest her and allegedly struck one on the hand to ensure her custody.

Seegers was subsequently arrested and charged with battery against a public safety official, a Level 6 felony. 

No further information has been released surrounding the incident.  She was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.
