South Bend, IN – Police Seek Suspect in Bank Robbery Wearing Yellowstone Hat

South Bend, IN – A South Bend bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon by a man wearing a Yellowstone hat. The South Bend Police Department responded to the robbery at 1st Source Bank on the 2000 block of Ireland Road around 1 p.m.

According to the South Bend Police Department, the suspect approached a teller window, demanding money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a tall, thin white male wearing a fluorescent safety jacket, a Yellowstone hat, and a surgical mask. Anyone with information is asked to contact the South Bend Police Detective Bureau at 574-235-9263 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
