Louisville, KY – Heroic High-Angle Rescue Saves Truck Driver on Clark Memorial Bridge

Louisville, KY – In a dramatic rescue, the Louisville Division of Fire performed a high-angle operation Friday to save a semi-truck driver whose vehicle was precariously hanging off the Clark Memorial Bridge today. 

According to the Louisville Division of Fire statement, emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 12:00 pm and conducted a skillful rescue, securing the driver within 40 minutes. The semi-truck dangled over the Ohio River, presenting a critical situation that was handled with expertise and efficiency. 

The Louisville Division of Fire commended the team’s proficiency, as their timely efforts averted a potential disaster on this vital transportation route.
