Simpson County, KY – I-65 Southbound Shut Down After Fatal Collision

Simpson County, KY – A fatal collision has prompted the shutdown of I-65 southbound at the 9.8 mile marker in Simpson County, near Franklin. 

The incident, which occurred Wednesday morning just after 8am, is expected to cause significant traffic delays, with the roadway anticipated to be closed for three or more hours. Trooper Katan Parker of the Kentucky State Police has advised motorists to seek alternative routes and to exercise caution when traveling near the area.
