“Aged Vanilla” Soda Customers Could Claim Share of $15 Million Settlement in Class Action Lawsuit

CHICAGO, IL — Calling all A&W Root Beer lovers! If you’ve ever purchased the iconic soda, you might be entitled to a hefty $25 payout. 

A class action lawsuit accused A&W Concentrate Co. of misleading customers by falsely labeling their root beer and cream soda products as “made with aged vanilla.” Lab tests revealed that these drinks contained mostly synthetic vanilla flavoring.
