Bourbonnais, IL – Burglary of Construction Trailer Sparks Investigation

Bourbonnais, IL – Authorities are on high alert following a burglary at a construction trailer. 

According to the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Wednesday, January 17. Deputies were called to the 15000 E. block of 5000 North Rd., where they discovered a construction trailer had been forcibly entered. The theft included a significant number of high-end tools, specifically Dewalt and Milwaukee brands, as well as several batteries. 

The Sheriff’s office is actively seeking information and encourages anyone with knowledge of the crime to contact Crime Stoppers at 815-93-CRIME. This burglary has raised concerns about site security and the targeting of valuable construction equipment in the area.
