Chicago, IL – Bears to Build New Stadium in Chicago, Leaving Arlington Heights Plan Behind

Chicago, IL – The Chicago Bears have reportedly shifted their focus from Arlington Heights to Chicago, planning to construct a new domed stadium south of Soldier Field. 

According to ESPN reports Monday, decision comes after the team had previously acquired a 326-acre site in Arlington Heights with an initial plan for a comprehensive stadium project. The Bears will now investing over $2 billion in private funds into a new domed stadium and surrounding park space in Chicago.
