Chicago, IL – Residents in Chicago should prepare for a brisk evening as flurries are expected tonight, following today’s patchy drizzle.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration forecasts a temporary shift to cooler temperatures with lows dropping to 24-30 degrees. However, a dry and warmer trend is on the horizon starting midweek, with temperatures steadily climbing towards the mid-60s by Friday.

The warming will be short-lived as chances for showers and storms are predicted for Friday night. Chicagoans are advised to enjoy the midweek dry spell while gearing up for the potential weekend downpours.
