Christmas Day triple murder trial begins

PONTIAC – A trial begins today for a man accused in the triple murder of his wife, son, and neighbor on Christmas Day in 2019.

Clifford Brewer, 55 of Cullom, is charged with six counts of first degree murder of his wife, Shirley, son Christian and his 51-year-old neighbor.  The three were shot in the head.

Opening statements in the case begin later this morning.
