City of Wuhan bans eating wild animals following outbreak

Authorities in the Chinese City of Wuhan announced today they’ve officially banned eating wild animals in the City.  Wuhan of course is the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Scientific evidence to date points to wildlife such as bats as the likely origin of the disease.  Wuhan’s wet markets which have been said by some to be a ‘breeding ground for disease’ reopened after the outbreak in early April.
