According to the press release, the police, alongside the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR), have been tracking Snow since an incident on Monday afternoon. They urge the community to refrain from approaching the deer, which has recently moved to a new location, to minimize stress and aid in its recovery.

Residents who spot Snow are advised to report sightings via the designated non-emergency contact number. The collective aim of the Crown Point officials and the police department is to ensure a safe and swift recovery for Snow, with further updates to be provided as they become available.
