Empowering Women: 8th Annual Women United Breakfast in Bourbonnais on March 20

Bourbonnais, IL – The United Way of Kankakee & Iroquois Counties is set to host the 8th Annual Women United Breakfast on March 20, 2024, at Olivet Nazarene University’s Chalfant Hall in Bourbonnais, Illinois. This year’s event focuses on empowering women through discussions on inclusion, well-being, and professional achievement.

According to the event organizers, the breakfast will feature local female speakers and a panel comprising leaders in social work, law enforcement, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and manufacturing. The event, starting at 9:00 am and concluding at noon, includes a breakfast buffet available from 8:15 am. Tickets are priced at $50 and are available for purchase at their official website.

Funds raised will support the Women United Initiative, aimed at addressing challenges faced by women and children in the community. Since its inception in 2021, Women United has significantly contributed to the advancement of local women and girls, attracting over 60 members committed to this cause.
