People aren’t in the stands this year, but virtual fans have been popping up across MLB stadiums. That’s because FOX SPORTS has begun digitally inserting fans in stadiums across the Country, powered by the Unreal Engine.
The technology is the same used to create games across a variety of modern gaming consoles.
Critics were quick to point out flaws in the system as FOX SPORTS attempted to rewrite history through the pixelated patrons of the game.
