Kankakee County , IL – As farm equipment begins its seasonal migration across fields and onto roadways, both Illinois and Indiana State Police, alongside IDOT and local law enforcement, are advocating for increased driver vigilance.

With the agricultural machinery notably enhancing congestion and often causing obstructed visibility, authorities are pressing motorists to practice heightened awareness and patience.

Transportation officials are emphasizing the importance of sharing the road safely, especially on rural and state highways where the mix of slow-moving farm equipment and faster vehicular traffic can create hazardous conditions.
