Illinois: Motorcyclist Pinned in Collision with Semi on Route 113

KANKAKEE, ILLINOIS — An alarming motor vehicle accident brought traffic to a standstill around 12:30 PM at the crossroads of N 4000W Rd and IL Route 113. 

A motorcyclist and a semi-truck collided leaving the motorcyclist pinned and necessitating a swift response from the Limestone Fire Protection District.

Multiple Emergency units were immediately dispatched to the scene, working tenaciously to stabilize the situation. Route 113 has since been shut down, with officials emphasizing the importance of rerouting to avoid complications.

No word on the condition of those involved.
