Indiana High School Briefly on Alert After ‘Prank’ 911 Call

Highland, IN – Highland police were mobilized on Friday following a  911 call where a male voice threatened to “shoot everyone.” 

Originating near Highland High School, the call, made at about 8:20 am, prompted an urgent response. Investigation revealed the phone belonged to a student at the school, left unattended and used by another student for the ‘prank’ call. 

The incident, initially treated as a serious threat, is still under investigation, and authorities are considering appropriate charges.
