Indianapolis, IN – This weekend, Indiana will host a Free Fishing Weekend on June 1-2. During this event, residents can fish on public waters without needing a license or trout/salmon stamp.

According to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, children 17 and under are always exempt from needing a license.
