Indiana Husband Charged in Wife’s Murder as Attempts to Clean Up Blood Unfold

ELKHART, IN – Matthew Thompson, 36, faces murder charges for allegedly killing his wife, Carra Thompson, 27, found dead in their Elkhart Indiana home. 

According to police reports, Thompson called 911, reporting his wife as unresponsive on the kitchen floor. However, police report evidence at the scene indicates foul play as Carra showed signs of battering and stabbing, while attempts were allegedly made to clean up blood. 

Thompson’s arrest followed, and his initial hearing is set for later today. The community reels from the shocking incident, as questions about the tragedy’s details and the alleged cover-up linger.
