Indiana Infant Airlifted to Chicago Hospital After Heartbreaking Cooking Oil Accident

CHICAGO, IL – A 10-month-old baby suffered severe burns from cooking oil at a home near Walkerton, Indiana Sunday, triggering a frantic response to save the child’s life.

In a race against time, emergency teams in Lapaz intercepted the vehicle carrying the injured baby. Emergency personnel worked tirelessly to provide immediate medical attention.

Ultimately, the baby was airlifted to the University of Chicago Hospital, where the young one is currently receiving treatment in stable condition. 

The burns have been reported accidental in nature, while the identity of the family involved in the accident has not been released by authorities.
