AMES, Iowa (January 22, 2024) – Iowa State University has recognized over 10,800 students for their exceptional academic performance, including several from the Kankakee County area.
To qualify for the fall semester 2023 Dean’s List, students achieved a minimum 3.50 GPA on a 4.00 scale while enrolled in at least 12 credit hours of graded coursework.
Among the honorees our area are:
- From Buckingham, IL: Peyton Renee Richie, a fourth-year student majoring in Agricultural Communication.
- From Kankakee, IL: Zachary C. Curtis, a third-year student in Mechanical Engineering.
- From Manteno, IL: Emma Jean Heaney, a fourth-year student studying Biology (AGLS).
- From Wilmington, IL: Veronica Jeanne Buis and Ashlee R. Kelly, both in their fourth year, majoring in Dietetics (H SCI) and Pre-Athletic Training, respectively. Also from Wilmington, Christian Michael Koca, a first-year student in Sociology.
