The incident, reported by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, occurred early Saturday morning as the 18-year-old attempted to bypass a checkpoint for several traffic violations near the state line.
Police reported K9 Riggs and his handler played a crucial role in detecting the controlled substances, leading to the arrest. The operation underscores the continuous efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking.
