Kenosha, WI – An Indiana teenager faces charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 94 where approximately 80 grams of THC products were allegedly discovered. The incident, reported by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, occurred early Saturday morning as the 18-year-old attempted to bypass a checkpoint for several traffic violations near the state line.

Police reported K9 Riggs and his handler played a crucial role in detecting the controlled substances, leading to the arrest. The operation underscores the continuous efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking. 

Sheriff David W. Zoerner commended the teamwork involved, stating the importance of daily patrols and K9 units in maintaining community safety and disrupting illegal drug activities.
