Stores across Illinois have adjusted hours to allow stockers additional time to resupply chains across the state, including Kroger, Berkots, and Wal-Mart.

Aldi, in a statement issued via their website, announced they are working with suppliers to keep distribution centers stocked. Some stores may be temporarily closed or have limited hours. The Company is however suspending their cash back offering program.
Berkots will operate from 7 am to 8 pm daily. With signs posted at all locations, the company is telling customers, “We are taking these steps to stock and sanitize our stores to better serve you.”
Kroger has posted signs in Illinois stating new hours, prior to the events of the past week, beginning today. The store will operate from 7 am to 10 pm, ending their regular 24-hour service window.
Meijer in Bradley will remain 24-hour service, according to reports. The Company has stated prerecorded phone messages to all customers: “We’re working very hard to secure additional quantities of items families need most at this time. We encourage you to visit your local Meijer as we do have additional deliveries of grocery products coming in daily.”
Wal-Mart announced yesterday beginning today all of its 4,700 stores across the U.S. will be open from 6 am to 11 pm, ending 24 hours service. Walmart employees will still keep to their assigned shifts.
Walgreens has waved all prescription delivery fees for patients, effective immediately, including free delivery with no minimum purchase on Walgreens.com.
Meanwhile, beginning at the close of business on March 16th, bars and indoor, dine-in restaurants across Illinois will close through March 30th. Drive-thru and delivery options will remain open.
