LAKE OF THE FOUR SEASONS, Ind. — Lake of the Four Seasons Volunteer Fire Department was jolted awake just after 2 am on Sunday to respond to reports of a motor vehicle crash on the intersection of Brookside and Kingsway Dr.
Upon their arrival, firefighters found an astonishing scene: a single vehicle had barreled into the basement of a residence.
The driver of the vehicle was rushed to the hospital due to injuries, however the homeowner was not in the basement at the harrowing moment of impact.
The crash remains under investigation with local authorities.
