MANHATTAN, IL – Tensions run high in Manhattan following the recovery of a body from a local retention pond on Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m.
The identity remains undisclosed, but speculations swirl about its possible link to the recent disappearance of 28-year-old Mokena resident, Robert Hollingsworth.
The body was found near Route 52, just south of Brookstone. Local law enforcement swiftly responded, and the Will County Coroner’s Office has since been engaged, working diligently to determine the identity and cause of death.
Hollingsworth’s puzzling absence started after an alarming car crash on Route 52 shortly after leaving a Bourbonnais residence.
