DECATUR, IL – On June 27-28, 2023, the Illinois Land Improvement Contractors Association (ILICA) and the University of Illinois Extension will come together to present an exceptional opportunity for contractors in the region. The highly anticipated 2-day Advanced Drainage Design Workshop will take place at Richland Community College in Decatur, IL.
This comprehensive training program is designed to provide contractors with the essential tools and knowledge needed to design and implement effective subsurface drainage practices. With interactive sessions and hands-on activities, participants will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and enhance their skills. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops or computer devices to fully engage with the training materials.
Registration for the workshop is priced at $90, covering training materials, lunches, and breaks for both days. ILICA members will enjoy a $50 discount on their registration fee. Alongside the training sessions, industry vendors will be present, offering insights into their products and engaging in discussions with participants.
The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including LiDAR and QGIS, 3D Mapping, Subirrigation, Drainage Layout, and Software-Based Pipe Grades. Additionally, attendees will have the chance to participate in an ILICA Panel where they can seek expert advice on contractor design tips.
