Gunfire Erupts at Illinois Entertainment Facility, Claiming Lives Amidst Children

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – A fatal shooting rocked Romeoville’s Scene75 Entertainment Complex on Friday night, leaving one person dead and a teenager wounded. 

Responding to a distress call at 8:38 p.m., police found two victims with gunshot wounds. The suspect fled prior to their arrival. Authorities located a suspected vehicle, but the shooter remained at large. Reverse 911 calls advised residents to stay indoors while a search was conducted. 

Witnesses reported a large number of children present during the incident. 

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact Romeoville Police at 815-886-2141.
